Mystical Fire hits Steel-types like Iron Treads, Thunderbolt is its strongest option against Corviknight and Toxapex, Psyshock does passable damage to Clodsire, and Hex is its strongest move if its teammates can reliably inflict status. Teammates that are susceptible to priority such as Iron Moth and Chien-Pao appreciate Flutter Mane's ability to pick off priority users and allow them to be more dangerous to opposing teams. Flutter Mane appreciates being brought in by a slow pivot like Corviknight or Chilly Reception Slowking.
