SV OU My first OU Team please help I want to get 1300 or better on ranking

Hey I've been starting Competitive Pokemon about 3 days ago after playing only Nuzlockes before and got recommended to start out in OU and decided to make a Team.
I still have a lot to learn, I never got above 1200 elo but maybe in the future :D.

I made the Team using Lucario because I think its really strong and I am a big fan of winning so strong Pokemon are always nice.

Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Steadfast
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Flash Cannon
- Vacuum Wave
- Dark Pulse

Lucario is the main win condition. I started with it because its one of my favorites which I liked since generation 4. It has a decent typing and good stats as well as a good movepool to back it up with. I used Life Orb for More Damage and Tera Flying to deal with its weaknesses like ground or fighting. Nasty Plot is to set up to do more damage, flash cannon is the main damage move because it has the STAB Bonus, Vacuum Wave is versus faster threats like chien pao or stuff like that and fighting type move is good in general. Dark Pulse is only versus Gholdengo and stuff I think yea. timid so it outspeeds gholdengo too.

Gyarados @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Moxie
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Tera Blast
- Taunt

Second up is Gyarados which is also pretty cool and has dragon dance and moxie so it can win games easily. it is immune to ground and resists fighting and fire which is why I chose it as a offensive partner for lucario. dragon dance is to set up and do big damage and with moxie it can be really fast and really strong. waterfall is the water stab and does damage and it can flinch too which I think is pretty cool and useful. tera blast grass is for rotom wash and deals with electric attacks too in tanking them. taunt is to beat the annoying toxic and status spammer pokemons to win and yea.

Meowscarada @ Choice Band
Ability: Protean
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Thunder Punch
- U-turn
- Flower Trick

After that I put meowscarada since I like the pokemon and the choice band set does big damage and im a fan of damage. the typing fits in well with the other 3 and can use uturn to bring in the other 2 strong pokemon to keep momentum up. protean is pretty nice as an ability because I get stab on uturn too and yea. Knock off is the main damage move, thunder punch is for corviknight and stuff, uturn for keeping momentum and flower trick is to beat annoying stuff like dondozo and the salt rock guy.

Dragonite @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Multiscale
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 144 HP / 252 Atk / 112 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Extreme Speed
- Earthquake
- Roost

after that I added dragonite since it can also sweep the opponent and the typing is very nice, multiscale is an awesome ability and tera normal extreme speed wins me a lot of games often. dragon dance is the setup move so im faster and do more damage. extreme speed for the tera sweep thing priority stuff, earthwuake versus the gholdengo and steel types if they dont have balloon. lastly theres roost for recovering HP which I need to set up more dragon dances sometimes and win alone with it.

Azumarill @ Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Liquidation
- Ice Spinner

then I added azumarill with assault vest because special offensive attackers and chien pao are annoying. it has a good typing and huge power is a cool ability so it does big damage too. first I went with aqua jet for priority which is always nice, play rough to deal with dragon types and stuff also fighting pokemon, liquidation is water stab and does huge damage and ice spinner is also cool versus flying types and stuff and also removes psychic terrain and stuff so I can click more priority moves like extreme speed and aqua jet.

Tinkaton @ Leftovers
Ability: Mold Breaker
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 84 Atk / 172 SpD
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Knock Off
- Gigaton Hammer
- Encore

last pokemon is tinkaton because its strong and I needed stealth rock on the team. I dont know what the set does because I just stole it but it somewhat works and I saw pro-players use it in big tournaments twice so it has to be good I think. stealth rock for rocks, knock off for removing items like eviolite and the boots and leftovers. gigaton hammer is a bit shitty but it does 160 base damage which is good but I cant use it twice in a row which sucks, encore is cool because its an annoying move and has good utility.

https://pokepast.es/92e2b8e005196890 heres the team, im still new to the game so feel free to give me any advice you want and hopefully I will get better soon at the game, also excuse my broken english since im not native, sorry and cheers.

Your team has the starting of a good team, but there's a few changes I'd make. First of all, :lucario: doesn't add too much to the team, so I figure that ghold is probably better. Since the team's speed control is iffy at best I'd go with the scarf set.

Second of all, azu doesn't really add anything thing to the team, everything it provides is already done by another member. I recommend adding :great tusk: as a spinner, and defensive Mon to fall back on Vs Phys Mons.

Two more minor changes I'd make is changing thunder punch on meowscarada to either spikes, trick or play rough. Finally, I'd go for t-wave > encore on tink as it makes use of mold breaker to para ghold and garg, two of the most common Mons in the tier. Besides, tink won't be outspeeding much to actually encore them into something.

Honestly, my team rating skills aren't the best but I hope you find my advice useful!

Adding upon what Poke nerd has said, I'd recommend looking at the Viability Thread to get an idea of what pokemon are most useable in the tier. You see whilst useful in some cases Tink, Lucario and Gyarados aren't going to help you win as much as other pokemon could. Also if you are new try not to stray too far away from the recommended sets on smogon.

I always recommend new builders use sample teams/ tried and tested teams to learn what works vs what doesn't. If you'd really like you could perhaps give us an update on your teambuilding thoughts and maybe some replays where you noticed a flaw.

Thank you, I originally just put Lucario since I think it was pretty strong but I agree that there are likely way better options, I implemented all of your changes and its been going (somewhat) better so far. I appreciate your feedback :D

I basically only went with the recommended Sets to be honest, thanks for showing me the viability rankings though, as I didnt pay attention to them before. I just put stuff like Tinkaton since I have seen some pro players in the big tournaments use them so I thought they have to be good
