Piping design heuristics

Gravity-drained piping should be sloped 1/8” per linear foot with Liquid velocity between 5-8 feet/sec. NOTE this applies to water and similar newtonian fluids with viscosities at the scale of 1 centipoise

use schedule 40Pipe forouter diameters of 3” or less. Use schedule 10 for diameters greater than 3”. NOTE this only applies to carbon OR stainless steel piping. Thermoplastic, thermoset, or Fiber Reinforced Plastic Piping shall be Evaluated on a case by case basis

full port or vport ball Valves should be used for pipe outer diameters of 3” or less. For larger diameters, consider butterfly, gate, or knifegate valves. Gate/knifegateshall be Used for isolation purposes only.NOT for modulating flow…

Stay Safe on your next Pipe Laying project my kings. And my queens

i just invented a genius new type of metal to make pipes out of. here are its benefits:

- it is very malleable and easy to make into thin pipes
- it is very dense so things you transport in the pipes will be immune to electromagnetic radiation
- it makes water that goes through your pipes taste sweeter
- great for aqueducts and wine jars

I was inspired by plumbing so I am going to name it plumbum. I am currently studying how it can be used in paint and gasoline

this is my favorite pipe :pimp:
