TWTBAW isn't a good read here, psy's a bad slot and i don't want him in the game, but he's also like

The bait was for everyone; you bit down a lot harder. The thread moves fast enough that I have to balance multiple thoughts at once and expressing them sometimes jumbles up in my head. But I'd already said that someone hard-claiming mafia might not be enough to make me swap.
I dont even want it to be hal like in trying to open up other options

Strawmanning again. I didn't say you claimed it, I was implying if someone else claimed it. And in another post, I did say what the bait was: the entire post, in the context of my previous posts.
Something about the interaction feels vaguely staged to distance themselves from each other despite still both being relatively similar reads wise. Hal takes the heat while Eli becomes more entrenched.
I don’t think they would interact with each other this way if one was town and the other was scum. I think Hal would branch out more but he seems to be going to Eli a lot. Eli would do more to pocket Hal.
Alternatively they could just be town.

my narrative is that psy played bad, got caught out for it, decided that he's going to play to meta and specifically you.
i don't know if you've paid any attention to things that psy has actively done to just fuck with your read on him
i can convince you of this in a number of ways
i can convince you that if you're never going to townread psy, then making the hard lynch now (psy) is easier than it will be at 5p lylo when we are not around
i can convince you that the lines get drawn really easily on some of the null spots with a psy flip and you and i are around for it
i can convince you that voting a low activity scummy person (which honestly can be like five different people) is the worst case scenario between making a difficult choice now, and voting a zero activity person
