I love mafia! I love being unable to understand threadstate because half of it is the “town”core (used in a joking way because not lock town), is running with knives!
I still think it’s Laurel/OJ. SB I am more mixed on now because of the Candelia thing, but concerned because of the other Candelia thing.

My whole thing w/ SB that i mentioned btw was that on re-read they had an exchange with AG that felt like it could've been W/W (that bit in 2383 where they ask Aura to expand on the hal/OJ reads) - which has some contours of wolf trying to throw a bone to their partner in trouble (& in this case, probe viability for OJ/hal wagons or honestly just make it look like Aura was actually playing, which for so long they hadn't been) but I think AG just kind of dropping off the face of the earth for all those stretches kind of weaken the impulse to follow that. They also had this weird bit where they'd, while already voting Aura, pleaded with Vizh to toss his vote somewhere & then later asked what happens if wagons tie, which I was tinfoiling as like, wolf voting partner asks nonvoting player to place a vote so they can get some sense of whether they can safely move or stay put, but there'd been enough time left in day that i'd ruled it out for myself and

all of this to say, I know charlie's done some weird stuff & there's some shitty optics around it, but if we're putting all this to a vote i still don't think i go there over Laurel, who's just given way too much bad faith for comfort eye em owe

yea that’s fair. I feel like SB is able to save their partner there and my other thing is their vote on aura guardian felt like it happened for no reason lol
I think if Laurel hits t game is still far from doomed ofc but like I guess the urgency is with smogon mafia and the fact that some people are super tryharding and some people are meh so it’s hard to dissociate between the lines based on if we have to hit more night phases
