yeah if i remember it's deadline i'll be available lol
where can i find your reads?
Oh I haven't actually done a reads list today, I'm not focussing on the game all that much today.
Considering we got mafcaff out this game is a little solvier than reads-based than would to be expected. However:
Town
- Like actually just AG. Chosen by the mafia team to be the safe misvote yesterday, was central to Caff being voted out (if AG doesn't vote Caff at EoD, I don't either). AG is straight town and the fact that D2 some people have been cagey about townreading them kinda only confirms this further.
Town Lean
- In a solvey way, Vizh is a town lean because they were active during the period after which Caff started panicking, and before I voted. There were a good 10 mins or so where Vizh and I were both posting a lot where the vote was 4-4, and there is absolutely no reason to believe mafia!Vizh wouldn't have quickly voted OM in that period, as he eventually did anyway once the vote was decided. In an unsolvey way, Vizh is also just quite contributory.
- M24 is in a good spot. Contributed significantly D1, (in his words accidentally) was key in voting out Caff. I don't agree with some of the positions and reads they've taken on the game, but I think it's only reasonable to have them at town lean currently.
Could go either way
- realiti is either town, or arrived at EoD after AG (and I) voted and so pretended to idle. It's entirely feasible they threw a random non-committal vote on Caff assuming it wouldn't pick up steam, and then M24 threw the vote there which made AG and I take a look at it. After AG votes for Caff, realiti does not have a reasonable out without drawing attention to himself, and arguably doesn't really have one from the point at which M24 takes one either. realiti was widely townread during D1 so bussing Caff is a reasonable action to make. OTOH, realiti could actually just be town who didn't arrive at EoD, they have been reasonably useful and solvey despite low postcount and effort.
- Salamence on paper should be fairly scummy, but is Actually Just Really Convincing. Displayed their arguments for their vote behaviour at EoD yesterday well, which are consistent with their reasonings today. I do wish they would participate in a wider scope on the game as a whole, as they haven't committed to platforms on most players, but like I kinda just believe them when they talk lol. Notably has anti-buddy synergy with Caff but Caff is a good enough player to fake that stuff.
- Schia is either wrong townie or made a really crazy gambit just to save Caff D1. I have spoken about this in one or two Big Wall Posts so if you backlog the thread slightly and look for giant posts with paragraph breaks and bears next to them you can find out more about my read here. Should never leave before Psy with respect to game theory, but is also not cleared by Psy's flip one way or the other.
- OM is just kinda like, "was it T/S wagons or S/S wagons" and that's the extent of it. I get good vibes from the 10 posts they have made but I'm not putting much stock into it. Will get solved through further gameplay.
Could legitimately just be maf
The likeliest organisation of players at EoD is one more maf on the OM wagon and one maf off of it. With respect to the Caff wagon, I would argue from most likely to be maf to least likely to be maf it's realiti -> M24 -> me/AG. This places a decent emphasis on those who were on neither wagon, which while including OM also includes:
- Laurel, didn't show up to deadline but kinda has done nothing particularly AI and this is pure optics.
- Hydro, didn't show up to deadline but kinda has done nothing particularly AI and this is pure optics.
Is anti-town
- Psy is either anti-town town, or anti-town mafia. At this stage I have stopped caring about the difference. Wagonomically they are the vote today, which I have detailed already.
