Arcadia Oni: IV check, cloning, and quick hatch are not detected in a hack check, IIRC. Not sure about Pokes obtained through items, although I'm pretty sure those would pass as illegitimate.

As for my own question, is there any relationship between the IVs of the Poke you catch and the Poke at the beginning of the party (the Sync'r)?

Go to the bottom of that page, enter the type you want, and 70. It gives you a list of the possible IVs. ;)

Also, about your question, the Synchronizer just change the nature of the wild pokémon, and like all the other abilities that have an effect out of battle, they don't have nothing to do with the IV's of the wild pokémon.

Dark Void: Yes, the Synchronize trick doesn't work on legends in Emerald, but it works on legends in D/P.

I assume you mean magic coat, not mirror coat, but only the stuff listed below.

Your happiness will still raise even if you have no EVs. Fairly sure it still works at Lv100. I'll check.
