Social anxiety agreesskips read on hal kinda feels towny. i dont know them well enough but i get the vibe theyd be the type to kinda shrink back at being scumread as scum instead of pushing back. especially against hal who is like ultra intimidating
Does the fact I said myself that most of my posting is just commentary before Eli did give me townpoints?
Just finished with the rands design session so I can try to contribute now but I'm skeptical how it'll go lol. This thread has been so centred on Psy I doubt there's massive amounts of AI content to mill through and work with.
there actually is some urgency, because again, if the poisoner is mafia and kills someone the night after next, we won't be able to do anything about it because the game will be over. similar to dusk's role, if the dusk is mafia and swaps the mayor to himself, we can't do anything about it and lose the game.not tommy because bad usage of his role can be bad (shocker, right?)
not roles that can be bad if they're on mafia (it's d1 not d3, theres no urgency, really)
i half-way agree with jalmonts post, kinda, in the sense that in my opinion the best way to play a setup like this is, after some daily development and thoughts, some towncore should be created and actions will be dispersed to people and they will follow them. once a mafia gets voted everything else falls into place because there's like 4-5 anti kp roles
playing like this is the most practical way to get associations when a mafia hits and it will allow us to best nightly allocate PRs
so the best thing people can do right now is like every other mafia game, try and find people that are scum, not policy vote people based on roles
IMO what I just did I would interpret as slightly maf if someone else had done it because it's an extremely standoffish observation of the thread rather than something that holds significant content
But we take those

I mean I did already talk about Jalmont's post. I think if we choose to go that route it is obligatory to vote Tommy first. It's not a route I'm particularly interesting in going down, though.talk about something not psy related. what are reads or opinions of yours you feel like sharing? the mechanical discussion from jalmont is something to talk about or various slots including oj who you voted
I think the psy vs dusk argument is probably the most important world to understand rn. After that please read my post on roles. Everything else is skippable. Happy to summarize the game for you if necessaryTrying to catch up, end of page 12. Eyes are glazing over because of the Psy vs Dusk thing. Here is something I think will make more sense than their argument: Psy town 2/2, me mafia 2/2, let's go for double 3 for 3 and vote me off as policy.
So I won't have to deal with so many pages of this argument going on forever. Please?
I don't think dusk was joking and I think it's unfair to penalize psy for that when his concern is much more valid. but i would concede there's a world in which a town player would see things like that IF they thought dusk was joking and psy truly was approaching it for an actual "policy because role exists" and not "policy because dusk said he's swapping all the roles regardless"psy’s trainwreck tunnel was entirely because he refused to read the details of a game he signed up for and then even as of one or two pages ago still didn’t know what “twins” or “children“ referred to. I’m not holding Tommy’s half-jokes when trying to get psy to actually communicate with him - I will hold his later “lol I’m for sure going to use this at some point” against him but the idea that I’m getting voted because I rightfully realized psy was operating with one eye and ear closed is silly
I mean, tbf most of the players are different lol. This game has an across-the-board higher skill level and involves more players who I am historically not great at reading.you didnt struggle to find things to talk about in matrices celever. im not sure why thats the case here
true ive really boosted the skill level of this game thats really kind of you to sayI mean, tbf most of the players are different lol. This game has an across-the-board higher skill level and involves more players who I am historically not great at reading.
