Nuxl do you believe that Hal scumbud would satisfy the "there's prob a bigger name scum player" wrt explaining the weird gamestate that most of D1 has had?
 
I'm a little confused why people don't like my logic. The setup is open so we should be critically examining it? If someone claims x role, you obviously take that into account on whether you go forward with a vote. Same thing here.

Your role is a problem only in a minor sense because we wouldn't be able to redirect your kill. This would not be the case with apricity, who doesn't have a night action. The reason why I would be comfortable voting a more "useless" role is that the remainder of the roles have enough positive value as town where I don't think it's a good idea to risk MLing.

I suppose we can vote mayor today and then the poisoner can vig FV or gladiator? That doesn't seem like a terrible use of actions.

FWIW this recent vote string onto apricity is probably the most interesting to have happened since the initial psy/dusk argument imo
 
ok anyway

this wagonomics feels wrong given the point d1's at atm. there's like 5? people voting hal rn and a couple more that probably sound like they're about to lol

and i really doubt he's letting himself get bussed

despite how hard of a player to read hal is i dont feel like this was how he tried to play in cool weapon - and while yes he can adapt on a second scumrand im not really seeing what others like master oden are seeing when they say like this was how he played in that game
 
m24's posts feel like they just exist in a vacuum, post their content and dip from the thread

it's an apt comparison to their matrices opener, where here all their reads are hidden behind wall posts and less on the fly

Tbh, that's kind of what they are
I'm trying to provide as much content as I can, but I genuinely can't get a good read on most of the people here, usually struggle with simply watching and basing reads off of interactions, usually like looking at votes more.

I don't think I can really contribute that much until d2 comes around honestly, had similar gameplay on D1 of matrice (that was a good part influenced by zelda tho), if anything I think I'm pretty much playing the exact same.

- Got stuck in the psy dialogue tree

- Made an initial readlist

- Threw out a couple of random votes

it didnt read like that to me but in fairness i dont think i can really engage with you with this as a talking point cos we're both just gonna disagree

I appreciate the self-awareness but to me it would be better if you did something you felt was right/wanted to gauge a reaction from rather than how it would look. like you're not really in any imminent danger ?

i felt like i saw something different in your meta from that game to this game, you might contest that point to me (or even if you give it to me i dont think that would impact what i think) and that wont help me personally generate a read at this point

That's fair, think i might potentially be putting too much stake in trying to stay alive at all cost, usually I probably wouldn't play like this, but I feel like my role at least warrants it a bit.

Like, I understand that doing what feels right comes off more towny, but I don't want to screw town over by not thinking about plays hard enough before I do them

I think if you compare my day 1 of this game to the game 1 of that game they come off pretty similar

idk how i feel about needing to summon you to talk to you about it but ok whatever mindset

like everyone here i think you would be better off doing your thing. why did you vote hal over anyone else, and if you were to switch your vote who would it be to?

unrelated this is like the 4th or 5th person who's mentioned struggling to find a footing in this game tho (including me XDD)
