NOC Werewolf Mafia - Game Over: Mafia Wins!

im not confident to write it off as scum yet because maybe hydro is just finding more confidence in his reads and posting which im super happy to see and maybe its a response to last game where he got d1ed for his crumbling reaction to being suspected, but i still have to point out that this is completely different from the timid hydro who panicked at eods even when he had the right reads, or parked his own vote on himself when he got one scumread
its called character development

Ladies and gentlemen of the town,

I stand before you today with a heavy heart and a sense of responsibility for the accusation I made against Duskfall. I want to begin by expressing my sincerest apologies for my tunneling of Duskfall, as it turned out to be wrong. I understand the potential consequences of my actions, and I genuinely appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate through this challenging game of forum mafia together.

I want to assure each and every one of you that my intentions were driven by a deep commitment to the well-being of our town. When I made my accusation against Duskfall, I firmly believed that I had identified a genuine threat that required our attention. My aim was solely to protect and preserve the integrity of our community.

Allow me to shed light on the reasoning behind my actions. Throughout the course of the game, I observed certain behaviors and inconsistencies that raised suspicions in my mind. I noticed peculiar voting patterns, questionable statements, and interactions that seemed incongruous with the town's best interests. It was this accumulation of evidence that led me to focus my attention on Duskfall.

However, I fully acknowledge that I was mistaken. We are all fallible in this complex game, and I am not exempt from making errors. I ask for your understanding and empathy in this regard.

While I want to address the concerns surrounding my accusation, I do not want to solely dwell on my own actions. I urge each of you to consider alternative leads and avenues of investigation. There are other players among us who merit close scrutiny, individuals whose actions and statements warrant further examination. By shifting our focus to explore other possibilities, we can collectively work towards the truth and strengthen our chances of achieving victory.

Please know that my commitment to the success of our town remains unwavering. I will continue to diligently analyze and evaluate the actions of our fellow players. I vow to employ a more discerning eye and exercise caution before making any future accusations.

I implore you, my fellow townspeople, not to view me as an adversary but as someone who shares the same ultimate goal as you do—the defeat of the mafia and the triumph of the town. Let us stand united, learn from each other's perspectives, and work together to bring justice to our community.

In closing, I beseech you to reserve your judgment until all the evidence has been carefully examined. While my tunneling of Duskfall may have been a controversial move, I trust that our collective wisdom and objective analysis will guide us towards the truth. Let us remain vigilant, open to new possibilities, and committed to the well-being of our town.
Thank you for your understanding, and let us proceed with determination and unity as we face the challenges that lie ahead.

Ladies and gentlemen of the town, esteemed fellow members, today I stand before you with a grave concern that weighs heavily on my heart. Our community, our safe haven, is at risk of being infiltrated by a force of darkness, a lurking menace that threatens our very existence. It is my duty to shed light upon this perilous situation and urge you all to take decisive action.

I speak of Spiderz, a fellow member among us, who I believe to be a lock wolf, concealing their true nature under a veil of innocence. While I understand the seriousness of such an accusation, I implore you to consider the evidence and the well-being of our town.

First and foremost, let us not underestimate the power of intuition, the gut feeling that often serves as an early warning sign. Many of us have experienced that unease, that nagging doubt that something is not quite right. It is our collective responsibility to honor these instincts, for they are often born from a deep understanding of our community.

Moreover, let us scrutinize Spiderz's behavior and actions. Have you not noticed their uncanny ability to evade suspicion, always lurking in the shadows, casting doubt upon others while skillfully avoiding the spotlight themselves? They possess an unparalleled charisma, a charm that masks their true intentions. But we must not be swayed by outward appearances alone. We must question their motives, their every move, for it is in these subtleties that the truth often lies.

Furthermore, my fellow members, let us not forget the principles upon which our town was built—trust, transparency, and the pursuit of justice. To turn a blind eye to the possibility of a wolf in our midst is to betray these values. We owe it to ourselves and to each other to seek the truth and protect the integrity of our community.

Now, some may argue that we should give Spiderz the benefit of the doubt, that we should not rush to judgment. I implore you to consider the consequences of inaction. The longer we hesitate, the more time we give for the wolf to sow discord, to manipulate, and to strike at the heart of our unity. Can we afford to gamble with our town's safety, with the well-being of our families and friends?

Therefore, I urge you, my fellow members, to cast your vote in favor of uncovering the truth. Vote for the investigation into Spiderz's actions, for a thorough examination of their behavior, for the preservation of our community. It is only through vigilance and unity that we can protect what we hold dear.

Remember, my friends, we are a town bound by a shared purpose, a collective responsibility to ensure our safety and prosperity. Let us not falter in the face of adversity but stand tall and resolute, united in our pursuit of justice. Together, we can rid our town of the shadows that threaten to engulf us and pave the way for a brighter, safer future.

Thank you for your attention, and may wisdom guide your decision

I'd like to vote JALMONT or Whydon here. I still believe in my towncore and many players in the thread have done things that have been somewhat towny, obviously there is scum somewhere in there but that makes everyone who hasn't done so, above rand!scum. I also think they have been just exhibitng strange behavior in general.

JALMONT:
Has always been someone who doesn't like to engage much in the thread and to focus on other things he finds interesting such as the mechanics of the game, but at the end of the day, as town, he does normally try to use some critical thinking to make a good vote with pretty good accuracy. His mechanical discussions are also normally geared towards helping town (such as last game, where voting based on roles was actually a good idea).

Here, I really don't like what he's trying to do - I think randomizing your vote based on years of mafia experience is a fine thing to do to troll early game, but he has still been sticking by it at EoD which I honestly found really strange given that he has shown to actually think and care about these games. The Celever nightkill makes him look awful, sure it could be mafia trying to frame him but if I'm scum!JALMONT I always make that kill so we can't waver on WIFOM here. In general I feel like a lot of his theorycrafting is just not as much from a town mindset as last game and some of his replies came off as defensive to me at first glance.

Overall I can't say I'm completely confident just outright calling this slot scum but I think it's one of our better votes today.

Whydon:
Has always been pretty AFK in games but his entrance was very strange, I saw him viewing the thread near the very beginning of the game but he didn't say anything, then in the middle he shows up with "Hey y'all" which to me was very bizarre becuase I knew he was viewing the thread before that but he's acting like it's his first time there. And now his activity is hidden which really just raises a lot of ??? marks for me. Content is pretty NAI imo but like I said, he is above rand!scum because most people are above rand!town.

Again I can't say I'm competely confident but I think this slot is just forever in the POE and it would be great if we can just flip it earlier than later so we're not stuck with a bunch of LHF in the future when it comes to LYLO.
