I have been asked an administrative question, so I answer: I only reveal role-PM info in the thread. So unless a backup backs someone up, the only role-relevant PM they have is the VT PM.

That said, if you look in the OP, you'll see WW gets true track (including mafia kills) while village only gets partial track (no kills), and Mafia rolecop gets if their target is an un-activated backup or not. I realize now that I was insufficiently clear, but pursuant to the spirit of those complete-result effects: in my "planning the game" convo with Duskfall, one thing I said before a "that works" reply from him was that Mafia/WW get notified if/when a backup dies. I realize I should have clearly specified this before now.

psy is playing just about how im used to him playing. i don't have any strong opinions other than thinking that psy is being psy. i dont think i necessarily buy his arguments but i haven't disregarded them either. my personal struggle with psy is that my brain doesnt operate like his does, so i find it hard to understand his perspective often. for example, realiti's big posts that were followed by "rolling my eyes" and "realiti please listen to me" don't help people arrive on the same page but i don't really think psy is looking to change pages so much as drag people to his page with him.

maybe it was poor timing but i do think there's something worth being said about the fact that this got posted right as soon as psy was setting his eyes on you. it's no secret that during day 1 i was focused on prodding you to try to get you to do anything but liking posts, and that sorta-but-not-really worked. i do not think that it's particularly scum-telling that you've suddenly gone, hey folks thoughts on psy? right after he mentions you. but i do not like it. i know you didn't expect to be pointed at from this post but like. unsurprising that the person who was particularly frustrated with you d1 continues to be frustrated with you i guess?
 
Even if his reads are correct he's pushing them in a way that makes me mentally exhausted and the game unfun to me. I don't think he realizes that being forceful and contrarian makes me care less about his points and he clearly doesn't seem to want to change the way he communicates despite all the top players on the site explaining to him why his behavior isn't resonating with them. So maybe its fun for him but not for me so I don't see this game as a good investment for my time

Ah, I understand. I get being frustrated with Psy. I am also irritated at him, and I feel like his attitude is going to lead to me dying today and the next day he’s going to go onto his next victim. However despite being wrong d1 I have enjoyed playing this game and I think there’s some enjoyment that can be wrought from this game still. We both voted wrong on Dusk and I think we kinda owe it to him to continue to play the game and win it so his death wasn’t in vain.

I actually agree with psy mostly, I find FK's tone to be a little disconcerting. I do think the omgus line of thought was a little much from psy but then I don't really think psy is block-worthy. idk

nuxl kill was weird. he wasn't really standing out to me this game

In hindsight actually mass claiming might've been better. Pretty big risk that backups will be fakeclaimed by mafia. I guess can't really worry about it now.

And personally, I think Psy is actually making the game easier to solve, despite tunneling me. Look at how JALMOND is reacting to this situation. I personally think this is just an evil reaction who sees that I have a chance of getting executed today. The game isn’t black and white my friend, even if I am personally annoyed at Psy, using what he’s doing to your advantage can actually help you figure out the game.

Yeah I think his reaction is also bad. I'm not sure why he is straight out ignoring my points against him yet trying to analyze the night kill and act helpful - the two mindsets I feel don't really match each other

it does fit his style where he doesn't really value other's opinions outside of when they align with his or when they're so diametrically opposed he feels an urge to scream about it. i mean obviously i'd advocate you stick around and just not interface directly with psy, like how dusk did in smalltown, i think it'd be very bad for town's chances of winning if you dip. but i can't stop you.
