it has come to my attention that at least four memetic creations of the todd bonzalez foundation have been cited in this thread as targets for copyright
let me dispel this idea by expressing that each of these are covered by the creative commons attribution 4.0 international public license and are therefore free for use by all, and cannot be further subject to trademark or copyright protections.

CONCERNING AN HISTORIC CRIME
IT HAS been brought to my attention that i myself have been the victim of an infringement of smogoff copyright. read on for the sordid details
you will all no doubt be intimately familiar with smogoff's crowning achievement, the CAP pokemon ,,Bramble'' (Normal/Horse) and the concept art that first launched it to unprecedented success, drawn by my own hand, in the spring of '21:
so IMAGINE THE SURPRISE, SHOCK AND HORROR when my acquaintance Todd Bonzalez Esq highlighted to me this particular post:
no attribution. no credit. NO PAYMENT for the many hours of hard work that such a masterpiece requires; not to mention the years of practice and training.
I cannot overstate how much this has shaken me to the very core. I feel unsafe in my own home, knowing that Bughouse could be out there claiming my work as his own as we speak.

I regret to inform you that your claim is invalid for several reasons, not least of which can be found in this post wherein I preempted your ability to file a claim by asserting ownership of the concept of owning ideas.
I would also like to file a claim on having a user name that is a compound word, one component of which is an animal.
monkfish regardless of your 2006 join date, you are in violation of my asserted copyright, because I have held my username for longer than you. in 2021, you changed your username to "mf" and only more recently changed it back. during this lapse, you waived your right to such a username, which I now claim for myself. I expect you to change your username back to "mf" or to some other non-violating username posthaste.
