RBY OU: nicole7735 vs twash
ADV OU: Stallion vs Caloom
BW OU: mad dawg vs marsandback

RBY OU: nicole7735 vs Thiago Nunes
ADV OU: Stallion vs Shitrock enjoyer
BW OU: mad dawg vs Ash KetchumGamer

United Kingdom (1) vs (2) Brazil
RBY OU: twash vs Thiago Nunes
ADV OU: Caloom vs Shitrock enjoyer
BW OU: marsandback vs Ash KetchumGamer

Each team will face each other in a round robin series. The 2 teams with the best records will advance to the next round. In case of a 3-way tie, the highest ranked team based on points (Oceania) will advance to the next round, while UK and Brazil will face each other in another Bo3 series.

Teams have until Friday, July 21st at 11:59 PM GMT -4 to complete their games.​

Unfortunately claiming activity against nicole. It's been >40m since I messaged at the expected meet time (see my wall), and >30m since my captain pinged Oceania's. Shame for a tiebreak but I don't really have any further flexibility due to the time difference.

Our interpretation of the tiebreak rules is that the two teams with the best record overall across all games go through

You've either interpreted them wrong, or my captains explained it to me incorrectly.

From how it was explained to me, individual games don't matter - sets do. If we all tie 1 set to 1, we go through as the 7 seed by virtue of points, and whoever was second in points gets the 8 seed.

Can Vertigo please confirm that my interpretation is correct?

Partially correct, if everyone ends up 1-1 then Oceania advances as the one who has the most points between all 3, and then another tiebreaker will be played between UK and Brazil to determine who advances between them.

Yeah that's in line with the quote I just edited into my post, so looks like my understanding was correct.

Which means twash vs nicole7735 is a dead game.

How does that work given that UK has more points than Brazil? So we all played a 3 way tie, Oceania has more points than UK so they get through, UK has more than Brazil so they have to tie break? Doesn't really seem fair does it?

The 3-way tie was unexpected and to not make a round robin series last indefinitely, Oceania advancing in case of a 3-way tie during the tiebreaker is actually the fairest option since they had more points than both of you and Brazil, meaning they take the 7th spot, for which points do matter (still according to the OP). UK and Brazil are playing for the 8th place, for which points do not matter, hence why you have to replay another tiebreaker.
