  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

Apologies to any Native English Speakers that are going to read here because I'll be repeating a ton of patterns with the way I make my sentences and explains things :x


DPP OU: BluBirD vs D4 Repertoire - This matchup is basically one with DPP Knowledge and has the fundies vs someone who's new in DPP(not 100% sure btw) but has just great fundies at mons in general as far as my knowledge. My guts tell me that D4 should have a more chance to win here, especially when they've members like Jirachee and Stallion tutoring him in DPP. But since it's in week 1, I can't completely trust myself and BlurBirD is competent enough in DPP. I will say if D4 gets the common interactions drilled in, and maybe some key knowledge such as Aura Sphere on Shiny Raikou only, Sleep + Spikes Rose can't be on the same set, Tyranitar DD + Pursuit can't be on the same set, etc, then I think D4 has a good chance to win over BluBirD. It does make me wonder if BluBirD is going to take advantage of showing unusual interactions such as DD Twave Gyarados or uncommon Breloom sets that can catch them off guard him. Regardless confident enough that BluBirD is going to take this game.
DPP OU: TLTK vs Stallion - Not 100% confident about both of them when it comes to their DPP history. But I've played against both of them, TLTK more at tour games and way too much against Stallion at DPP Ladder if my memory servers right with that custom juggler avatar. Like I've lost count of the matches I've faced him in so many different alt accounts if I am right lol. Anyway if I'll have to decide who to bet on, I would go for Stallion because I think he's overall a better player and perhaps knows better than TLTK (grain of salt moment here) at DPP??? Stallion being an old player makes it harder to judge, but he's doing recently well at Rcop and I haven't seen TLTK play DPP for quite some time. TLTK is definitely capable to take a win here though even if I'll bet on Stallion to win this week. In the end, I'm just glad to see TLTK in DPP action again :)


DPP OU: TyCarter vs Pideous - While I don't fully know about TyCarter as a DPP player even if we're on the same team at Pokemon Perfect PL, I think it's really hard to see him win over Pideous imo. Mainly because I think Pideous can make TyCarter play the longer game and in the long term they'll struggle. There's also Pideous's gonna have those moments where he outplays TyCarter such as punishing on the usual interactions for example. Regardless, it will be a challenge for TyCarter as Pideous will make sure they will be drained out after this game even if they win or lose. But it's not entirely impossible for TyCarter to make a crazy upset ;)))
DPP OU: Susciety vs Le Don - Le Don should be the advantageous favor here to win, but I like to have one slot where I'll go against the odds and Susciety can win here. It would be funny to see them bringing a Pideous team against Le Don and just win, but I don't think Susciety would make such a decision against him right...? Glad they have BIHI and Stone Cold for support so I can definitely see some heat.


DPP OU: Lazuli vs Qwily - It's been a while since I've seen QWILY play DPP, so very happy to see him play this week. I've no idea who Lazuli is on DPP, so this's a slot where I just have to pick based on my limited knowledge. I'm betting on Qwily since they've good enough support from Sharow and somewhat Somalia, though I won't scuff off Lazuli since they've some support such as Egalvanc and Churi and if Lazuli has grinded DPP before then this matchup could be one of those where anyone could win really.
DPP OU: JabbaTheGriffin vs Sharow - Very confident that Sharow should win here since he's just more involved in the current DPP overall, especially after winning his recent DPP Global Championship tournament it feels like there's a clear winner here. But never underestimate your opponents, especially when it comes to Pokemon. Jabba has the fundies backed up enough to take a win enough for me to consider this isn't a one-sided match. I do wonder if Jabba's gonna be using reused teams though, such as Blissey para teams or some stall ones w/e. Matchup should matter, but I just think Jabba's way to win is being the better player tbh. It'll be a fun game to watch personally but go Sharow though.


Maybe I'll make predictions for each week. But anyway...
