well you haven't given the theory of the reason as to why you were gonna target inactives, and you only just now went into detail (other than the fear comment which came later) about your celever sus

The reason why I would target inactive is because
1. Inactives do not vote. Using the wagon in games with flips is LITERALLY 78% win for town every time if you follow the wagon. The wagon gives you all the information you need on the players who vote in it. You don't need much more.
2. In the chance a mafia IS inactive, your plan is totally blown up because you don't have the mafia telling each other. So sorting it makes sense.
So basically, going by the wagon is the best option. The one thing that totally bones the wagonomics approach is inactive mafia. I will investigate the inactives to sort them. Also, they have no chance of being targeted by mafia and if their replacement comes in and makes big waves its good to have that info, but thats all secondary.

Maybe it doesn't reach your own standard of a read that you would vote on. It reaches mine.
There are two parallel routes of game theory.
Are the mafia bad at being mafia? Solve inactive slots because the mafia are either inactive or are posting badly enough to get found.
Are the mafia good at being mafia? Solve among active players ASAP to try and find them through one shot role power (more important with only one shot).
This is ignoring that we have 2 good subs this game (1, because Bossaru thought this was a tournament)
Nuxl Duskfall98 there was a check-in how long before subs come in for the people who failed check-in
