Corviknight is an exceptional wincon for Steel teams due to its unmatched bulk and great dual typing, capable of easily snowballing Ground and Fighting teams. Body Press targets Steel- and Dark-type Pokemon that resist Brave Bird or could take advantage of its recoil like Kingambit, Chien-Pao, and Iron Treads, as well as capitalizes off of the Defense boost given by Bulk Up. Alternatively, Taunt prevents Ting-Lu from phazing Corviknight out with Whirlwind and breaks passive teams like Poison due to the prominence of Haze and recovery moves, while Substitute makes it harder to shut down once setup and stalls out Landorus-T's Smack Down. Leftovers provides much-needed recovery and is almost always the preferred item; however, Occa Berry + Body Press can surprise Heatran and Flamethrower Hydreigon. An alternative EV spread of 248 HP / 80 Def / 180 SpD with an Impish nature allows Corviknight to survive Surging Strikes from Urshifu-R after a Swords Dance, as well as prevents Zamazenta from breaking Substitute with Body Press.

Heatran is a great teammate, as it switches into Fire-type moves from Iron Moth, Scovillain, and Moltres and traps and removes Toxapex so Corviknight doesn't need to use Taunt. In return, Corviknight provides an immunity to Ground-type attacks directed at Heatran as well as a Fighting-type neutrality. Gholdengo threatens out Skeledirge and Iron Valiant and takes advantage of walls like Toxapex, opposing Corviknight, and Klefki by setting up Nasty Plot freely. Kingambit checks Ghost-type threats such as Dragapult, Spectrier, and Flutter Mane, as well as heavily wears down teams so Corviknight can setup relatively easily and clean up late-game. Hisuian Goodra is a great specially defenisve tank, taking on Greninja, Basculegion-F, and Volcanion as well as opposing Heatran. Iron Treads offers an Electric-type immunity, handling threats such as Zapdos, Regieleki, and Sandy Shocks, as well as luring Landorus in for a potential KO with Ice Spinner.

Corviknight is an exceptional wincon for Steel teams due to its unmatched bulk and great dual-typing, allowing it to setup on threats like Great Tusk, Galarian Zapdos, and Quaquaval(its more of a stallbreaker that can do something else due to its amazing typing imo). Body Press targets Steel- and Dark-type Pokemon like Kingambit, Chien-Pao, and Iron Treads as well as capitalizes off of the Defense boost given by Bulk Up. Alternatively, Taunt may be used to prevent phazing from Toxapex's Haze and Ting-Lu's Whirlwind as well as preventing passive Pokemon such as Clodsire, Quagsire, and Articuno from recovering their HP while Substitute makes it harder to shutdown and minimizes small amounts of chip (Taunt is for letting it murk Poison/Passive teams hard enough aside from Ting-lu phazing, Substitute is used to stall out sub bu Lando). Leftovers are preferred for the passive recovery, making it more fearsome, however, Occa Berry can be used to lure in Heatran, Hisuian Arcanine, and Flamethrower Hydreigon to nail them with Body Press (but no recovery makes it bad).(248 HP / 80 Def / 180 SpD + Impish lets it live +2 Surging from shifu, as well as making the matchup with ID Zama a bit better, as you can taunt to outpace his ID or Sub since it cant break sub if you're both boosted)

Heatran is a great teammate as it switches into Fire-type moves from Iron Moth, Scovillain, and Moltres as well as traps and removes Toxapex so Corviknight doesn't need to use Taunt. In return, Corviknight is immune to Ground-type moves from the aforementioned Ground-types and also provides a Fighting-type neutrality. Kingambit checks Ghost-type threats such as Hisuian Zoroark, Spectrier, and Skeledirge as well as heavily wears down teams so Corviknight can setup relatively easily and clean up late-game. Hisuian Goodra is a great Special Attack absorber, taking on Greninja, Basculegion-F, and Volcanion as well as opposing Heatran. Iron Treads offers an Electric-type immunity, handling threats such as Zapdos, Regieleki, and Sandy Shocks.

Corviknight is an exceptional stallbreaker for Steel teams due to its unmatched bulk and great dual-typing, capable of easily snowballing Ground and Fighting teams. (It's a stallbreaker with Taunt but without it, I feel "win condition" is the better term to use here) Body Press targets Steel- and Dark-type Pokemon like Kingambit, Chien-Pao, and Iron Treads as well as capitalizinges off of the Defense boost given by Bulk Up. (I'd mention how these can beat Corv without it) Alternatively, Taunt may be used to prevent Ting-Lu from phazing Corviknight out with Whirlwind as well as stalling out passive teams like Poison due to the prominence of Haze and recovery moves, while Substitute makes it harder to shutdown once setup and stalls out Landorus-T's Smack Down. (doesn't really stall out passive teams but rather it breaks with Taunt, stalling out passive teams is more suited for Substitute) Occa Berry can be used to lure in Heatran and Flamethrower Hydreigon to nail them with Body Press, however, as Leftovers provides much-needed recovery it is almost always preferred. An alternative EV spread of 248 HP / 80 Def / 180 SpD with an Impish nature allows Corviknight to survive Surging Strikes from Urshifu-R after a Swords Dance as well as preventing Zamazenta from breaking the Substitute with Body Press.

In return, Corviknight is immune to Ground-type moves from the aforementioned Ground-types and also provides a Fighting-type neutrality. (I think this sentence can be reworded to "provides an immunity to Ground-type attacks directed to Heatran as well as a Fighting-type neutrality", since there isn't any Ground-types listed before saying "aforementioned") Gholdengo threatens out Skeledirge and Iron Valiant and takes advantage of walls like Toxapex, opposing Corviknight, and Klefki by setting up Nasty Plot freely. Kingambit checks Ghost-type threats such as Hisuian Zoroark, Spectrier, and Gholdengo as well as heavily wears down teams so Corviknight can setup relatively easily and clean up late-game. (H-Zoroark and Gholdengo can be tricky for Kingambit to check due to Illusion and Focus Blast respectively, however it does check both so there is no need to change this, just wanted to comment on that since these can be shaky examples, with only Dragapult and Flutter Mane coming to mind as replacements) Hisuian Goodra is a great Special Attack absorber, taking on Greninja, Basculegion-F, and Volcanion as well as opposing Heatran. Iron Treads offers an Electric-type immunity, handling threats such as Zapdos, Regieleki, and Sandy Shocks as well as luring Landorus in with Ice Spinner.
