NOC Popcorn Mafia 3 Game Thread

i was reading aura as s/s with clouds at start of day and a lot of their posts have been very bad and several have been scum motivated, however their return to the thread is very not wolf scum motivated and the s/s read with clouds dissolved and there was effectively no desire to move the kill momentum away from them for a large portion of the day. i think they're more likely town than scum given that context, if i had a gun to my head i'd say scum, they probably get shot early regardless because if they are town they're apparently incapable of town telling, and i'd prefer a zippy shot
 
19 players. 6 Mafia
Gunbearer and myself = 11 town outside that group
Let's say I'm right about zippy, that leaves 11v5, assuming I'm not shot.

If I'm shot, then I'll probably grill Zippy. He hasn't done much to change my previous read that he's mafia.
But if I'm shot, then that's a shot lost. 100%, bad thing happens. 0% good.
If I switch off zippy for someone else, that's a 5/16 of getting the shot right.

31.25% vs 0%.
Full disclosure, if it gets down to the wire and I'm likely to get voted, I will switch to whoever has the most votes other than myself.

Gonna look more closely at Ehmcee and CaffeineBoost and see if there's a case for them since they're the next two options.
 
chad afk'ing is unlike him and i'm not sure if he'd be this distant as town, cause he has no trouble engaging with thread when he is and he's honestly one of the easier players for me to read when he is town which there haven't been any traces of here. his posting is kind of awkward? is the best way to put it, like he kinda jumbles around some relatively useless framework shit (see #665) and fails to take any assertive stances

his townread on me was kind of coughed up after i asked him for his thoughts on me upon him saying i was an easy read (#672, #687), then never expanded on what thoughts of mine he thought seemed natural so i'm not feeling too sure the read is authentic

also #661 is a post chad would for sure make if he was mafia that gave psy the gun

the main thing holding me back here is directly contradictory to how i think he'd be playing as town in the first place, and that's that i'm like... does he truly slack off this much as scum instead of carry his weight? so the activity factor winds up leveling out somewhere around nai, on a content level chad can be mafia and i wouldn't be surprised
 
the momentum thing i get but i think the issue of it is less how people dealt with it and more how aura himself did. for those that are there, it reminds me of oj d2 in ke2. like scum is getting a lot of heat early, and disappears to wait for it to die down because the stagnation itself is going to do more work than they could potentially putting their foot in their mouth (speaking generally, not meant as an insult to aura)

None taken. Given my first revival game, it would be a fair issue.
 
I was motivated to play knights errant 2 because i wanted to showcase i wwas a decent scum player, and i was motivated in champs cause its champs. Popcorn mafia is different, not sure how to read into it until a shot gets fired and someone dies.
 
anyway in my defence to some people saying that im not really making game content posts: thats fair, but a lot is going on and im really not sure how to process it all. theres a thousand and a half posts and this is super overwhelming. i dont remember why i voted celever tbh
