IS there a guide/thread that lists the best coverage for 2 moves? (i.e normal/water hits most things for at least neutral dmg)

Hey guys, new member here. I have a complex question.
I am about to teach my male Charmander the move Fire Punch on my Emerald version via a move tutor in the battle frontier.
The question that I have is, if I breed this Charmander in my Diamond Version (being male knowing the move Fire Punch), it will carry over to the baby if I breed it with a Ditto, correct?
What I mean is, I thought that I read somewhere that unless the baby pokemon (a charmander) has Fire Punch as an "egg move," it wouldn't carry over fire punch...
I need to know if I breed a male charmander that knows fire punch with a ditto, if the baby will have fire punch as a move? If not, I am going to have BIG TROUBLE trying to get a good natured, good IV'd charmander that has fire punch. :(
I am trying to create the two attack Bellyzard that came from this site.

Sorry, tutor moves never pass (unless they're also egg moves, like Substitute in Advance).
So you'd need to breed the Charmander in Emerald. Or any Advance game relly, but it'd have to travel to Emerald to be taught Fire Punch.
Great, so now I have the task of breeding Belly Drum into him, whilst getting an offspring with 30 IV's in HP and somewhat respectable in speed and attack, not to mention getting the right nature.
Guess I better keep using that syncronize adamant natu to find a good 30 IV ditto. This is going to take forever. lol
I am going to scream. Just shoot me now :(
How would it be any easier if you could pass Fire Punch down?
Because I have nothing whatsoever on my Emerald Version. I already had my Adamant 30 HP, 30 Attack, 31 Speed IV ditto on my Diamond. Now I have to try and find a similar one on my emerald and i need to find a pokemon within my emerald that can learn belly drum. The problem is, i transfered nearly all of my useful/goood pokemon over to my diamond before i chose to try and make this charizard. :(
A lot of breeders on smogon use it, and it is generally accepted.
Does the AR code work for legendaries? I use it on a shaymin I just caught and it gives very different Ivs to metalkids.

How much different? I haven't tried it for legendaries but you should know that the IV checking code gives you the IVs in this order:
HP/Atk/Def/Spe/SpA/SpD (special defense last)
Also there are 2 versions of the IV checking code and at least in the one I'm using if one of the IVs is 0 all the stats below and including that one will not be able to be calculated because the TMs for those stats will disappear.
Another thing, you must press select+start before going to the summary page and you have to release the buttons before leaving the summary page.
