P sure JALMONT has just theorised about this multiple times and even then I don’t think this is the takeaway from it. JALMONT’s point is that if I fake claimed then a scum faction would definitely know I was scum, at which point they’d either hard push me or shoot me. But they wouldn’t call out that they know it’s fake for sure, since that would out them.

But anyway neither a hard push out of nowhere nor me being shot for a second time happened so yeah, not a fake claim lol
 
I’m the only claimed passive role that triggers or whatever the wording was, why does BGB have a strange variant that affects active + passive but not kill if there isn’t a passive role in the game
 
IDK why you’re so tunnelled that you could only view that content through the lens of defence when the BGB revelation was the only defence part and that was genuinely just a neat thing I noticed

I guess I just don’t understand this view, power heavy games have a lot of interactions between roles that require careful wording to fully capture. Half the writing time making Assist Trophy was spent refining wording lol, this is a really specific wording I don’t see legitimacy in just saying “AG was being quirky” and denying the meaning that’s there

It definitely isn’t. I’m interacting with IPL’s solving. If nothing else, because it helps confirm or deny the scumread, or it may make you eventually look at other options more deeply.

Frozen reads is bad town play, ultimately. And you’re not the only person with frozen reads right now but you are the only person not even paying mine to their scumread’s content
 
i am reading your posts from the mindset of going "is celever saying anything that would make me reconsider my read of them" and the only thing that has done anything towards that end is this conversation
 
like even if i buy fully into the wording confirming there is passive role effects in the game, that doesn't suddenly hardclear you as town, your role could be something, realiti or psy could have some passive role effect given that both have been cagey/allergic to claiming things.

Sure, I do agree with the idea that realiti or Psy could be affected by it, but that also means that if I’m getting sent over they both need to confirm they’re unaffected by it or else we’re sending a mech clear over in near MYLO lol

I guess I contend with this because I contend with the PoE itself. Even Psy was very non-committal with this PoE (he said it’s not how he feels, the 3 PRs being the PoE) and as included in my ramblings I’m p sure town!IPL should actively not be considering this PoE as viable because town tracker with 4 scum PRs is very uneven. Though thinking on that again now, I guess I visit someone exactly once (and even then whether or not PGO should count as a visit in terms of tracker is probably inconsistent between hosts) so maybe him thinking me and realiti are scum isn’t too outlandish given that? Would have preferred if this were his stated point instead of my thinking though lol

Anyway that is to say that I think the PoE in question is just yours, since JALMONT has broadened to include at least Psy, and IPL’s himself. So he set up his own argument with that, I don’t think it’s otherwise notable.

FWIW I was scum in the last game (lover’s dance) which is v much a spin-off format, before that it was a pre-current revival game by Nuxl which was actually a standard mafia game but the only person in both games is IIRC BGB lol
