Pulsar also claimed no result N1 (first) and I feel like that’s a really bold play to fake that since PRs were claimed and BGB not targeting a PR would be crazy. Could become a 50/50 if someone else claims they were blocked.
So I think pulsar was probably telling the truth. If we assume IPL is also telling the truth, the conclusion is just that AG resolves so that tracker fails if it’s used against a dead player. It might not be the standard resolution but it’s not some kind of crazy / bastard mechanic IDRK why people are discounting this possibility.
The reason IPL’s failed uses are weird is that neither of his targets were particularly good ones (BGB could get a pass, pulsar seems like a crazy play IPL never expressed scumread of her I think and cop has to claim target + result anyway I don’t get what IPL thought he’d get out of that). But my two brain cells are kicking in and I’m realising IPL is claiming to target scum twice, so maybe I can’t say they’re terrible claimed targets LOL
Pulsar claimed she targeted realiti ftr which is why BGB usage makes way more sense on her. Just don’t see a reason for her to lie about specifically that, it’s too risky, especially with JK also flipped
Which yeah actually means I think there’s close to 0% chance there’s another role that could make actions fail. We already have 2 flips that do that. There aren’t enough actions in the game to warrant 3 LMAO.

YEAH OK c’mon now Zippy’s role PM wording is “prevent them from taking any actions”.
Totally different wording to describe what is normally the exact same ability (since roleblock and doctor are two phrases in Zippy’s role PM this is just the wording for the roleblock part). BGB’s wording was specifically engineered to include passives. Either realiti has a passive ability or me having a passive (I.e. my claim) is confirmed by flips

Because pulsar claimed she targeted a live player and IPL didn’t. Honestly in closed setups like this both town and scum tell the truth most of the time and IDK if IPL is actually a tracker or something else but at least wrt their actions failing, or at least having cause to believe they would fail, I buy it. Like maybe it actually failed N1 and they knew they could pretend it failed N2 by claiming to have targeted someone dead again, but that’s the only cause for a lie here I think
I think especially since IPL is presumably coming off a significant hiatus, they probably claim their actual ability if their first usage fails because they would be hard sending assuming tracker would fail against someone dead which would take some balls if they’re something else (esp since as we know it’s not the usual way to resolve that interaction).
Just don’t see the cause to lie about that regardless of alignment, for IPL or pulsar.
I can’t name one, TBH, but I feel like this is something that’s OK to give the benefit of the doubt over. IPL has a decently high shot of being scum but it’s not because of the claimed tracker failures IMO.
Like the options here are IPL is straight up lying about everything and is a goon (would just claim vt always), is lying about being a tracker but does have an ability and that one failed and he just assumed same would be true for tracker (would be a p bad misplay that I don’t think can just be chalked up to rust so I’m not buying into this), or is actually a tracker who’s ability has failed twice one time of which was after 2 roleblockers were dead meaning we have 3 in the game or trackers fail against dead targets. Or, IG, IPL is a tracker and has been false claiming fails while they’ve been succeeding, either not targeting the dead players or having his actions succeed and claiming they failed anyway, which is kind of a subcategory of the second option.
Basically I think IPL could lie better than this so he’s probably telling the truth about this stuff specifically and AG made a weird hosting choice. Def not something I’m down to lock him as scum over, and there’s enough elsewhere anyway.
Coming back during a break here, will reply to anything closer to end of day. I’ve already announced my next night’s target but instead could just do whatever town consensus is. Look at this hypothetical situation. Town lynches today and hits scum, it’s 5-1. Night kill happens, it’s 4-1. At that number town can win even with a mislynch. Not like anyone (most likely) can get away from a majority lynch here. I could (just for example) target fairy and then see and say “oh fairy did the night kill” and that paints an absolutely clear picture that either fairy or ipl is lying and town can simply vote both of us off. Of course this is presuming that town can accurately lynch scum tonight but I think that would increase town’s overall chances no?
If that’s the case, then Realiti is almost surely mafia no?
