So I have installed shoddybattle, but have not used it yet and I don't get Wi-Fi intill next month. So I want you guys to help this newb to 4th gen in anyway possible. Now Rate My Team.

130.png

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Intimidate
Adamant
212 HP / 180 Def / 100 Spe / 16 Atk
~ Dragon Dance
~ Taunt
~ Stone Edge
~ Waterfall

The reason I would lead off with Taunt Gyarados is to not give Swampert, Bronzong, etc a chance to use a phazing or status move. Dragon Dance is here to give Gyarados the chance at a sweep. Stone Edge is to hit Flying Type Pokemon. Waterfall is of course for a stab on Water and the flinch rate isn't to bad either.

466.png

Electivire @ Life Orb
Motor Drive
Mild
236 SpA / 176 Spe / 96 Atk
~ Cross Chop
~ Hidden Power Grass
~ Thunderbolt
~ Flamethrower

So this is my Mixed Sweeper of the team. The reason I didn't choose Hidden Power Ice is because most Salamence are faster than Electivire ( Motor Drive boost excluded.) and most Garchomps tend to have Choice Scarf. So I have been watching a couple of battles on shoddy and I see a lot of people switch in there Swamperts on Electivire. So even if Swampert switchs in on a Flamethrower now Hidden Power Grass will OHKO Swampert. Cross Chop is for Blissey, Tyranitar, and etc. Thunderbolt with this EV Spread will be stronger than Thunderpunch.

205.png

Forretress @ Leftovers
Sturdy
Relaxed
252 HP / 162 Atk / 96 Def
~ Rapid Spin
~ Spikes
~ Explosion
~ Gyro Ball

This is my Physical Wall and also an awesome Rapid Spiner. Spikes is here add great damage on such pokemon switching in that are not Flying Types or have the Ability Levitate. Gyro Ball will hurt a lot of fast Physical Sweepers ( Yeah you Weavile). Rapid Spin is to get rid of the Spikes, Toxic Spikes, or Stealth Rock my opponent has put up. Explosion is a last resort move.

477.png

Dusknoir @ Leftovers
Pressure
Careful
252 HP / 176 SpD / 80 Def
~ Pain Spilt
~ Ice Punch
~ Shadow Sneak
~ Will-O-Wisp

My Special Wall here. Will-O-Wisp will screw over all those Physical Sweepers not named Infernape or Guts Ability Pokemon. Shadow Sneak is here for a fast stab attack. Ice Punch is here to take on Dragons easier. And Pain Spilt is to have some sort of way of regaing HP.

68.png

Machamp @ Leftovers
No Guard
Adamant
252 HP / 252 Atk / 6 Spe
~ Dynamicpunch
~ Rest
~ Stone Edge
~ Sleep Talk

This is my SleepAbsorber which takes staus for the team. Dynamicpunch is awesome here 150 power going at you even Skarmory is going to have a hard time battling Machamp when its getting confused in between turns. Stone Edge will take care of the pokemon that are resistant to Dynamicpunch. Rest is to regain all health back. And Sleep Talk is to use a move during Sleep turns. Also it doesn't hurt to know attacks you use on from Sleep Talk will not waste any PP.

245.png

Suicune @ Leftovers
Pressure
Bold
252 HP / 252 Def / 6 SpA
~ Calm Mind
~ Roar
~ Rest
~ Surf

Suicune is awesome with Spikes support. Calm Mind up raising your Special Stats. Roar to phaze a Pokemon that is stupid enough to try a set up. Rest to heal off damage. And make a huge wave with Surf.

Thank you for reading now please Rate My Team

Nice team overall. Weaville are gonna almost destroy that Gyarados, but since you have Defense EVs you may be able to survive, Alakazam could probably destroy Dusknoir, Machamp, and maybe Electivire. Also most leads are packing an HP Ice in their lead or an Electric-type move so you shouldn't use that Gyarados unless your not scared of them. You're also using the most abuse lead out there for your information so many teams have ways of killing it.

P.S. Is this team for Shoddy?

Sure, but I'm just getting the hang of my team and battling too. But you have 2 Pokemon weak to Raikou which I got fully loaded on my team. Also if you want, you could switch Forretress for Skarmory if your not that scared about Spikes / Toxic Spikes / Stealth Rock. Skarmory can also lay Spikes and Stealth Rocks FYI. But if you are gonna switch to Skarmory you should use Stealth Rocks instead of Spikes for if Dragons or Flying-types try to switch in they will lose 25% of their Hit Points.

Actually I prefer Forry over Skarm on his team. Rapid Spin helps his team a lot especially since he's relying on Suicune and Dusknoir to take the majority of special attacks both of which do it fairly but not that reliably. It would also be too his disadvantage to add another electric weakness to his team.

solid team overall especially if it's your first.

dragons give you problems though, you can't really switch into specsmence (or cb chomp for that matter). consider ice beam on cune over rest

for restalk champ maybe:

machamp@leftovers
252hp/252atk/6spe
adamant nature
Guts

rest
sleep talk
cross chop
stone edge

when resting guts activates so cross chop would do more damage then dynamic punch would

for the rest good team

I know what Guts does I prefer No Guard for actually hitting I don't like missing and you never know when you can get a lucky confusion on Skarmory anyway. I might have to clone a future Machamp on Emerald.

Machamp @ Expert Belt/Life Orb
No Guard
Adamant
200 HP/252 Atk/56 Def

Dinamic Punch
Ice Punch
Thunder Punch
Stone Edge

Electivire is better like a Physical Sweeper with Thunderbolt/Cross Chop/Ice Punch/Earthquake

Blissey is better than Dusknoir for a Special Wall. And it is a status absorber.

Blissey @ Leftovers
Natural Cure
Bold
200 HP/252 Def/56 SAtk

Aromatherapy/Wish
Flamethrower
Seismic Toss/Counter
Softboiled/Protect

It absorbs status, heal your team and is the better wall of the game.

Sounds to me your team has a Blissey weakness.
Nobody has a Blissey weakness, they just lack a good Blissey counter. I have yet to see a Blissey sweep!
Seriously, Blissey is really easy to counter in the D/P metagame. So you might want to use a less obvious pokemon on your team. That's why I think Dusknoir is fine.

whats the difference
I have yet to see a Blissey sweep!
blissey used calm mind

Seriously, Blissey is really easy to counter in the D/P metagame.
its also the second most used poke on all of shoddybattle

try not to make such insubstantial posts lol. if you're tired of blissey, dont play ou. just dont try convincing people its not a good poke. it just doesnt make sense on this team since he needs to block rs for all the spikes he has up
