Software update.

all the quick Update does is wipe all the existing codes off of your AR and download the entire codejunkies database onto it again. Unfortunately, most of the codes for Pokemon in that suck.
 
anyone have opinions on a useful Calm Blissey spread/set for ubers.

i'm currently running:
4 Hp / 252 Def / 252 SpDef
Softboiled / Seismic Toss / Icy Wind / Aromatherapy

i'm think of ditching Aromatherapy for T-Wave or Thunder. how much status is thrown around Ubers? i'm guess WoW from Giratina, Dark Void from Darkrai, but what else is common? i'm just trying to get into ubers, not really knowing what to expect.

I think that Uber Blisseys run Calm Mind, Thunder, and stuff. I don't remember.

Okay, so I just screwed up majorly, I think.

I stopped the quick update and now it doesn't recognize my Pearl game.
 
Okay. I got my info back.

I typed in the IV check code, and I have the All TMs/HMs code on. I tried to check the IVs of a Poke, and the TMs are still 95.

What am I doing wrong?
 
Yeah, and then check the first six TMs in your bag.

I did that, but I used the TM/HM code earlier. I sold 94 of my first six, so I have one of each, but it still doesn't work.
 
What's the earliest you can go on wifi when you start a new game?

I'm planning on starting from scratch both to get the legendaries I missed the first time around, and out of slight boredom.

I'm trading over my keeper pokemon from this file to a buddy of mine to trade back to me when the ability to online becomes available again. :)

Ok, this is bullshit...I tried to trade it over 2 more times and it still tried to evolve! I even pushed B and other buttons but nothing would prevent the evolution.
 
Does Magic Guard negate the damage caused by Belly Drum?

(Im pretty sure i know the answer to this but its worth a shot)

Yes, indeed. Actually I use BP most of the time. One fight until the Tower Tycoon and you have enough BP for one Pokemon. Thanks for the help!

I really should do that, it's just annoying how you have to buy them one at a time and you have to keep count of how many you've bought. Will definitely keep that in mind for whenever I EV train in Emerald, I have over 1000 BP there. Getting on a roll in the Battle Pyramid is good for that kind of thing.
 
I have a question about the sleep clause in Standard competition and the move Yawn.

Pokemon A uses Yawn on Pokemon B, then the next turn for whatever reason Pokemon B stays in and falls asleep. Pokemon B is then switched out for Pokemon C while still asleep. Does this prevent me from using the move Yawn on Pokemon C because it falls under the Sleep Clause? Or is it a valid move because Pokemon B was left in by choice and Pokemon C will still have the choice to switch out to avoid sleep?
