Honestly if anything I think that’s reason not to push for the massclaim today, because part of the value in it is that we could spearhead the actions lol. If we die then JALMONT is prob gonna do that instead, he loves massclaims. (Also tbh I do townread you but I feel like you townread me more than I townread you, which is fine but maybe that feeds into my hesitancy lol)
we can read into nks p effectively though, diff players have diff cultures around it. I wouldn’t expect us to die tbh

Yeah the risk of JALMONT being scum is why I said it :P I certainly townread you more than him, but he’ll def step up to the plate if we both die and he’ll be loud enough people will likely sheep him. Maybe Emerald would too he likes mech stuff, he’s newer though so I wouldn’t be as confident in saying that as a rule.
Killing the most active solvers right away isn’t the silver bullet it is in most communities. Good solving can be manipulated more than bad solving can. We’ll die if we become too right (because people on this site rarely put much stock in the reads of town flips unfortunately) but probably not until then. And neither of us are close enough to a solve that can be judged as too right or not yet
We gotta play more ranked so we can get the golden bullet in the ranked shop

I'll do my best to explain the changes vis-a-vis the last one.
Fairy (Null to TR): Consistently generating content and keeping the thread active and interesting, but they're listening for others' reads instead of rushing into them now, which I can understand for an experienced player on D1. Meaningful contribution without conclusion is fine.
JALMONT (SR to TR): I was interested by his reaction to Pulsar/saber's continued pressing of him last night, and when I ISO'd their respective posts I feel like most of the basis for reading him was just made-up. I was dumb to trust pulsar enough to go along with it for the afternoon
Celever (TR to Null): Just jumped the gun, not very complicated. But my rush to townread Cel shows they're a really fun person who makes good first impressions imo so +1 for that
Joey (SR to Null): I'm naturally suspicious of a player like him, but people vouching that his approach to the thread is standard behavior + his few interactions with others being meaningful means there's no reason to actively sus him atp
Pulsar (TR to SR): Swapped places with JALMONT when I realized his basis for SRing him was based on "posting something that riled him up" and then never followed up on. When I went back through the convo I never found anything fitting that description, so it feels like he's trying to take the heat off Saber and/or get rid of a potential 3P.
Emerald (SR to Null): I felt like he was actively watching the thread and avoiding content a lot more than he was letting on, but his conduct since then has somewhat disproven that for me.
Skipper (Null to SR): Skipper is what I thought Emerald was. Avoiding content, only really popping in to defend saber/make other weird townreads that feel premature to me (in the same way he accuses me of prematurely scumreading). And he's notably avoided discussing/sharing real opinions on Pulsar at all, probably as he sees there's a much stronger case against him than there was against saber

this reads as omgus, alice and skipper both read as towny to me, and here you say 1 of the 2 are scum, without reasoning.

Are you feeling okay bud? I literally just gave reasoning for Skipper. Alice is kinda the same as they're only posting at times that are convenient for them, and that one can't be omgus since she seemed to be fine with me after the M2H thing got cleared up
I feel like I'm noticing a trend of you missing important details about what people say/think. Or maybe your internet just sucks idk

am i crazy here? I don’t see the case on skipper at all, your basis is them not posting that much, and from your pov being unsolvy, which I don’t completely disagree with, but is NOT at all a good basis to scumread on, considering they haven’t even tried to push votes.
alice has voted pulsar, but their activity seems fine???? It’s not like people can post 24/7, and I’m not going to try to guess their schedule off just this. They’ve had reasonable post volume within a specific time frame, and have made somewhat meaningful posts in that time frame.
Lastly, your claim that I’m missing things. Consider what I replied to. It was 5 pages back. It turns out that, when you catch up on things, you so it from the smaller page count to the bigger one. I beg you to think before your posts, and actually base your scumreads on what people actually say rather than “how people are avoiding content”

saying that someone is only posting at times that are “convenient for them” as if it were a bad thing is how we end up with insane ass things like confirmed vigs getting voted before people who’ve been shady as hell

My case goes beyond that. He has stepped in to defend Saber when he was being scumread, but has actively avoided discussing Pulsar imo. That is weird behavior given their dynamics so far. He has also rushed to townreading Cel and Neon despite having waaaay more information on how they usually act than myself and admitting that he probably shouldn't be reading them at that point before reading them anyway. All of that is weird.
Alice is easily the shakiest case I have for this exact reason, that's why I'm not pushing it. Just mentioning her when it's necessary to help summarize other things.
I'll think before I post if you finish reading before you post. Later posts change the context of previous stuff, that's why you don't post opinions from page 28 when the rest of us are on page 35. Just finish reading, make sure you've got your shit straight, and THEN post so we don't get dumb interactions like this.

Fine, go ahead and think that. I'll respectfully agree to disgree on your interpretation. It's not like most of the reads we make today will be acted on for a few IRL days anyway, we still have common ground elsewhere for now so let's take advantage of it
