NOC Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Mafia - Explorers - Game Thread (Game Over!)

ISOing her and mainly focusing on understanding her involvement in Shane/Celgate. It feels hedgy and throwing shade at both parties gives her an out in case either flip town. I remember Jalmont also made a decently interesting case about it last night in his thoughtpost

does this opinion change, depending on the alignment of shane and celever?

Scum!af would definitely have

If one flips maf I suddenly become much more convinced of her mafness. However that's hard for me to commit to bc my working theory has almost no room for her, it's a scumteam of shane/bluedoom/jalmont and genisu(AF here maybe?) or clouds/laurel

really? why does one maf make her more likely to be mafia

also this is odd to me, you were just saying you were more convinced shes mafia but now you're saying she's not even in your solve? did you just change your mind right now?

Because then her reasons for involving herself at all (which I wouldn't expect from her by default) become much more clear

Both of those ideas can coexist tommy. Hell I still suss M2H to some extent but I forget why and he doesn't fit my solve either so I don't push it in the slightest. The idea with AF has been consistent for me: I see the case, I want to believe the case, but I need to fit her into my solve better. That means figuring out what the fuck is going on with Jalmont, what the fuck iils going on with Laurel/Clouds, etc. It feels like a very transitory part of the day where I have a bunch of ideas but I can't mush them all together bc I need more info from ppl who won't just fucking give it. That's also why I less-than-half-jokingly wanted to wagon jalmont at SoD

probably because he thought it was noteworthy w/r/t reading laurel, that isn't too hard to figure out based on the post he did it in and i don't understand why you're acting as if you have no idea why he'd do such a thing
But a bunch of people have come out since then and suggested inventor is NAI, if that's true then Clouds would be experienced enough to agree with that unless he had another motive to push laurel in a certain direction

fair enough, I wouldn't get bogged down in trying to put teams together before we even have one flip, the times people get a team right before flip is incredibly rare and I'd say isolated reads are fine to take precedence atp, but up to you

you're doing well either way (btw I'm not trying to get on your back just trying to learn your worldview better)

We need to make up our mind. Are we claiming or what? Is claiming scummy or not

laurel wasn’t close to getting voted so I fail to see the urgency needed to claim at that very moment.

waiting to hear the one plausible explanation I’ve come up with
