    Because they're grouped together on size and importance. Tangrowth is too big to be in the center; it leaves a lot of Mightyena out of the frame. All the larger pokemon are in the background, smaller up front. K? K. EDIT: tangrowth would block out the dogs as well if it was in the middle.

    About the whole "you'll be thinking is this really pokemon?", could it be referring to variations between Pokemon (like NEP), or possibly being able to customize appearance (badges, hates, scarfs, etc)?
