Do the swimming goggles exist or not? I've been trying to find info about them on Serebii and if I recall there was a thread about them here on Smogon, but I cant find it. So I'm wondering if it was like a mistranslation or they just plain dont exist.

The only way I can see the Shanderaa hype being like that is that Shanderaa's durability in the metagame to come becomes more limited then initially perceived and that it would be harder then speculated for Shanderaa to come in and set up. Of course, if Shandy never gets Shadow Tag then the hype...

@Golemguy: Yes, most likely I think Unburden is arguably more useful, as has been stated by many in this thread. Heat Rampage has its uses but if it cant get Trick then it'll be limited.

I'm very glad I read this thread, because, at first, I always viewed this change as bad as something that would lower the amount of skill and prediction in competitive battling. Due to Shadow Tag Shandy actually not being out yet (in addition to the fact that it might never be out) I was thinking about a flash fire version.

If this is true, that stinks and it is taking a lot of the prediction and skill out of the battle. It also robs shanderaa of the chance to come in on a choiced move its immune to, set up, and pown.

I cant see this thing bringing that much to the table. Due to its initial fraility, its ability to sweep will be limited because of its ability. I doubt we'll see much of it initially, but, it does have its niche like wingedknight said.

This set reminds me of the havoc mence wreaked with DD. I view Sazandora as the salamence of Gen V just more specially orientated, has better defensive typing, and isn't weak to SR.

Am I the only one who believes healing beam (was it heal beam?) and healing heart make blissey an amazing cleric in something like a triple or double battle?

Didn't think of it that way, but it sounds like it'll just end up like spiritomb, left behind in some lonely stone to rot away for thousands of years till one daring soul puts it on a stall team.

Then you have to think about partners to threaten those who threaten Shanderaa.
