I think there was just some confusion.
I don't think it was intentional.
Here is the conundrum - in general showdown and pokemon online battlers do most of their socializing while they are battling on those mediums. So it is hard for a PO/showdown only king or tsar to find battles.
Maybe if we had a seperate game for PO/showdown?
Also the problem is I like wifi better than PO/showdown, plus when my wife wants to watch TV, I can't use the desktop to do battles on PO/showdown.
One solution would be if there was a really active battler who is also on smogon a lot who was really proactive in making sure a PO/showdown only battle game had plenty of action. We could start a list of PO/showdown battlers, like the FC connection. Then we could either have a battle game for PO/PS in BABA, or in a sperate group that was allied to BABA.
What do you think?
Are you active enough to oversee such a game and actively look for battles when it is going slow?
