Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Where are you guys getting those avatars that look like two pokemon fused together?
Not quite Pokemon related, but it is a simple question with maybe a simple answer >_>
BASE STAT TOTAL: 600
HP: 145
Attack: 145
Defense: 145
SpAtk: 10
SpDef: 145
Speed: 10
Its ability is Intimidate, and it learns Avalanche and Ice Shard at level 5.
How about now? :P
Well let's think of it this way. Let's say we were to create another pokemon, this time a 100% Garchomp counter. What sort of beast could accomplish such a feat? It would have to have insane base Defense and at least above average HP, in addition to not getting hit super-effective by Dragon...
I was actually going to make another thread about this, but since we're discussing fun and overpowered pokemon, I might as well say it here.
Basically it's about the reason I stopped playing Pokemon: it no longer became fun for me. Why? Because of the imbalance. The way it seems to me is, if...
Am I the only one who was disappointed with Lucario? Granted I was using a physical one, but the damn thing can't take a hit and is still outsped by better, stronger sweepers.
I was also a bit disappointed with Gliscor. What am I supposed to do with him when the enemy's Heracross is out of...
OK my question is a little involved. Say I want to breed egg moves and/or TM moves onto a pokemon. Do these moves take precedence over the natural moveset of the baby pokemon at level 1? I.E. if I'm breeding 2 egg moves but the baby pokemon naturally knows 3 attacks at level 1, will both egg...
Wow, got lots of good replies :)
I was actually giving serious consideration to a mono-Poison team. It's true that Poison gets no love at all in the pokemon games, it's only supereffective against one type and it is weak to two, one of which is very common. But if I could get around EQ...
What is everyone's thoughts on mono-type teams? Lately I've been having some trouble thinking up good central strategies or themes for teams, when it dawned on me that I could try having every member be a certain type, then work from there. I tried a mono-water team on Netbattle a while back...
Two berry-related questions.
Does Salac berry activate at the end of the pokemon's turn or the end of the round?
With berries that reduce a damage type (Yache berry for Ice) does it reduce the base power of the attack or the final damage, and by how much?
OK last question for tonight, completely unrelated to Baton Pass:
How much SpAtk is needed to 2HKO your standard Blissey with Aura Sphere? This is from a Lucario.
