I appreciate you're being patient throughout all this. I learned something new and now I have a new solution to trading between my games at home. I'll be using wifi from now on to do it. :-) I won't ever have to run my Black sav with a White ROM again. :-)
I guessed something like that, the exchange rate is what I was wondering about. 1 Credit VS. 1 Pokémon sounds right.

LOL, no problem. I'm going back on wifi now. The Black ROM seems to run ok in wifi. It just won't trade locally between games here at home. Maybe I'll use Wifi between my games from now on. That would be a load easier than all this renaming.

It's working! I'm running the file on the proper ROM and now the old fart recognises me as the owner. But I do still have a problem. My ROM files don't have any tampering, so they don't have English patches and therefore only have 5 spaces for a name (whether character name or pokemon name). So I need a maximum of five characters for the name and this includes blank spaces.
Do you know the name of this item for ev training? Edit: Perhaps its one of those wings that the blue swan drops on the bridge?
Oh! I know what it is. This is a Black game, but to trade between games, I have to bypass a glitch on all Black ROM files. All Black ROM files go black screen when you want to trade between games. So I temporarily rename the black save to be run by a White ROM. White ROMs don't have the glitch. Then I trade between games. After I'm done, I rename the file so it is properly run by the Black ROM again and that way the pokes are generated by the correct ROM and are totally legit.
So this means I must shuffle the sav file names around, use the Black ROM, rename it again to make it run by White and then trade with you.
