Other Silly Things You've Seen On The OU Ladder: V2

I stumbled upon a Golem today. If that's not stupid enough on its own, it used both Earthquake and Earth Power.

Keep in mind that Terrakion became S-rank in a time in which Deo-D roamed free. At that time, its taunt + SR set was one of the frew mons that could put a stop to it and force it out while retaining offensive pressure. Nowadays, I would agree with you - he's not as, you could say godly as he...

Conkeldurr is def. better than it was a little while ago because Torn-T isn't freaking everywhere. He's too slow to bulk up, so that set is out. However his SubPunch and status orb sets can deal tremendous amounts of damage, and sponging Conkeldurr's hits isn't precisely easy. I'd say he's...

Lanturn is perfectly viable in OU; it shits all over rain just check Jimbon's "Weird Fish" RMT.

Sand Stream is not an excellent ability. It doesn't power up Hydro Pumps, doesn't cut down Fire Blasts' power in two, and neither does it give 100% accuraccy for a powerful attack, whereas rain enables 2 (Thunder, Hurricane). It also enables a lot of mons to thrive in it (Tenta, Toxicroak...

Politoed clocked in at 18% usage last month. That's not "omnipresent". If you're not using rain, 82% of your opponents will enjoy the 30% miss chance.

LO Thunder is actually not common. Rain Teams don't pack Starmie anyway because Tentacruel does a better job at spinning under rain, and non-rain teams can't afford a 70% hit chance out of rain.

Jolly Mamoswine does, in fact, outspeed Lucario and KO with Earthquake; and Jolly Mamoswine is not a bad idea this meta considering the amount of Jolly Low Sweep Breelom running around Sub Punch Breelom is almost nonexistent in this meta. Techniloom, its most used variant, can always KO Lucario...

Going to suggest Sandslash for at least D rank. It's a somewhat niche pokemon, but it's a spinner that can reliably defeat spinblockers. Expert Belt / LO Shadow Claw OHKOes Gengar 35% / 70% of the time at +0 and it's a guaranteed KO with SR. Standard Jellicent (248 / 216) is OHKOed at +2 after...

The smogon on-site EV spread has enough bulk to survive Jolly Mamo Ice Shards. If surviving SE priority moves is being fragile against priority, I don't know what isn't.

I meant protect in place of Softboiled, not on an additional moveslot. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough. And even then, I still thing Protect is a better option. It lets you scout for rogue superpowers or similar while providing similar recovery in tandem with Wish. Aromatherapy is very useful...
