I reckon you should also make it so that people have to wait a week to rechallenge, so that it makes losing a bigger deal. Otherwise it'll be easy to just keep rechallenging until you win 5 in a row.

Quick question, do challengers get the chance to rechallenge the Elite 4 or what? The rules there are very vague.
I didn't ask to be Caitlin. I am in the timezone of +1 - +7 GMT (Johto), where there are 2 more spots left.

Also, do I have to use the same team? Can I use different teams as long as they all fit the Dark Horse requirement?
i.e. I use ferrothorn/ttar/politoed/ninetales/salamence/dragonite for elite 1 (no pokemon under 5%)
Then shedinja/clefable/magmar/magby/happiny/munchlax game 2 (need one Pokemon under 5%)
Then latios/latias/breloom/terrakion/steelix/onix game 3 (need two Pokemon under 5%)
And so on.

Also, are there any limitations on what Pokemon the gym leaders themselves can use?

for your elite challenge, what if youre team already uses a more than one dark horse when you beat one elite 4, does that you dont have to remove a mon for the 2nd elite?

Yeah ikr! I havnt talked to you in ages because you had exams and i havnt been active recently up untill today. The project seems awesome i would nominate myself but i dont have acces to showdown yet. How ever seeing as i do hang around ou rmt forum i will put in my two cents helping out with nominations and stuff and yeh Bisharp is a monster Checkmate was a great team!
Regarding the OU E4 challenge:
Is best of three really the best way to do this? shouldn't it stick with single elimination? These guys are gonna be challenged by tons of people, so tripling the amount of battles they have to do could end up stressing them out. Just an idea
Also you may want to up the Dark Horse requirement. I dunno, stuff like Latias, Landrous-T and Keldeo don't seem like Dark Horse material to me. Sorry if this sounds like griping, but in the OP you did say that issues should be dealt with via VM :P
