I have an incredibly noobish question. I'm trying to abuse my TID/SID on Platinum. I have eontimer and rng reporter, I'm following the steps in the DPP / HGSS manipulation guide and got as far as step two. It says to go to Pandora's Box, under the PID section and enter info to do a search. But...

Batch 7; Fre + Eng Swinubs: 100 eggs, zero shinies

Batch 6; same Spa + Eng Arons: 100 eggs, zero shinies

Batch 5; Spa + Eng Aron: 100 eggs, zero shinies

batch #4; Jap + Fre Swinubs: 100 eggs, zero shinies

batch 3 complete (still eng + jap dratini): 100 eggs, zero shinies I'll keep doing batches of 100 over the next few days.

update to post 1089: completed the next batch of 100 eggs using the same parents (eng + jap dratini), zero shinies. starting another batch of 100 with the same parents.

Hatched the 100 eggs. egg #97 contained a shiny. I'll do another hundred eggs later with different parents once I choose what I want next =)

I'll participate in this as well. 1st target is 100 eggs with Eng + Jap Dratinis.

ah i c. yeah, i kind of still want it, but not as much as I used to. I have so many pokemon piling up to EV train, and so many unfinished teams in progress, that I'm questioning what I'd even do with it once I had it. >.< I really need to sit still and finish one thing already :P
