I mean just the one that REA VMd you. Essentially, it was actually an extremely old thread that I bumped and that Metal Bagon and BS have been trying to revive for some reason. Another scenario where I may have instigated hostility! What a strange coincidance.
I find REA's description of BS' tutoring program that he ran by you overly amusing. I've recently been wondering if all this contention between TRC (or BS specifically) was instigated (accidentally) by myself around the time that I joined Smogon. There seem a few too many coincidances involving me that may have been triggers to these events. What are your thoughts?
Two pokemon will always work better than a single pokemon.

My guy is the equilivant any of a master, but back then, masters had many apprentices and there were many masters.
So if our guys battled, one would have to die. My guy is going to have 2-3 apprentices eventually because that is what was done in the old days.
Rule of two meant nothing in his time period :P
Ah, but Mew has MUCH better defensive stats than Azelf, whilst still being able to dish out a respectable amount of damage with Dragon Tail.

He was trapped by a Jedi that gave her life to trap him there for eternity of torment. Unfortuantally, he was freed and now he continues his search :)
It most certainly has the stats, but yeah, typing is it's largest fault. It's ability is somewhat useful if you're using it as a supporter running Heal Bell I suppose.
I actually found Mew to be an excellent entry hazard phazer with Dragon Tail.

I also find it particularly odd that you somehow transitioned this conversation from talking about VGC to Smogon rules. I'm not quite sure when that occured.
I'm not particularly sure about what you're getting at in that last statement, but I think Smogon's rules are only decent, due to the fact that I think Mew and Jirachi ought to be Ubers like they are in Nintendo. Other than that hiccup, it's all kewl.
I'm aware that Blaziken is banned; this is my wifi team, not my PO team (which is nowhere near perfect at the moment, this one, however, took me quite some time to perfect and has no counters with the right prediction).

Ah, well now that we are on the same track, I shall introduce Eviolite Porygon2 to you for shutting down Garchomp and Thundurus in Singles.
Keep in mind that this is doubles. I could have any number of things to shut down Thundurus offense oriented. And 90% of the time, Thundurus will waste a turn Taunting Sableye. And using Thunder on me 4 times isn't a OHKO.

I've used this set on Wifi and have managed to shut down all three of those Uber pokemon with this pokemon being helped by another.
Lol, you can shut down all three of them with a Prankster user (or most of them anyway).
Well, I think Nintendo has waaay better rules than PO or Smogon. Excadrill and Garchomp (and Thundurus) are relatively easy to shut down. -
