Marik needs her help to even stand a chance against his father.

Still, the battle will show Marik that Brute force is not always best.
It will also show Ashi that sometimes, instinctive battling is more important than cold hard strategy.

How do you defeat what shugs off your attacks easily?
Marik cannot hit Ashi and Ashi cannot deal sufficient damage.

Marik's mons use Brute power and have monsterous durability.

Roger, I also posted my "ruling" in Classic RPG. Basically both attacks hit and neither Pokemon fainted. Scyther is now back in its Pokeball
