No, it's really not a bad thing, I do that(most of the time anyway). People IRL are douchebags 98% of the time. That's why the people I surround myself with are people I trust and love like family. I would let people come to you, and keep to the internet.

No, don't do that! Being alone from friends for extended periods of time is possibly the most unhealthy thing for a teenager. Trust me, it's not pleasant.
