Tobias and the Mage are extremly similar. Tobias sold his soul, so you can't defeat him, but Tobias can't get through magical defenses, so its a stalemate.

Eh, to be honest, that's probably not quite going to work. The thing is, most of the evil SI's are not inherently evil, but rather brainwashed. (We haven't seen any like that just yet, but we will.)

However, don't scrap the virus, I'm cooking up a conflict for later on where that might be interesting to have. (Muahahahaha)

Hmm, I suppose you're right. I suppose I should just try making a goal of "rescue Warren" or something like that and see where it goes from there.

My only trouble is I think the last time I had the iron grip relaxed was on my dismal failure of an RP where everyone ran around clueless.

In the case of chapters...at this point I'm not sure. I suppose I'll figure out whether to keep the chapters based upon how it goes from this point on.

Eh, not much to be honest. KS will send some hunter drones to find the general area Warren's stuck in, while I introduce my character. During that phase, we'll realize that "oh crap, we can't fix these turrets without Warren" and we have to rescue him before a much more massive army comes and blasts the city into kingdom come. Well, the drones will get destroyed before they find the exact location, so a small team consisting of most of the PC's has to go into different facilities and find him. Hopefully.

I think the main trouble I might have is that the real plot starts when we hit Chapter 2. Chapter 1 might need to be a lot shorter than I intended. As of right now the basic plan is Realize Warren is missing->Introduce my character->Go on several individual missions to find Warren->Fight huge army->Make strategic attacks->Attack the forward base, which is hinted at having the supercomputer contolling these robots.

Pretty well. Got Pokemon Conquest recently and it's awesome.

So yeah, I've been on a bit of a RPG posting mood, hopefully we can get Free RPG rolling again.

In any case, what do you think of my RP so far? Admittedly my beginnings are not that great...for instance I have only a minor idea of how to make the first chapter go onward after the battle...

He is only concerned that he won't get the treasures that she has. Tobias's army can destroy her's and make a blocade, but she is immortal so long as none of her blood is spilled. Tobias has no anti-magic strong enough to get through her shields.

We're assuming so. That's why Tobias is talking so openly.

Note that there is a small, spider-like machine in the room, but it is a mindless security bot for our defense (Not that we need a defense >_>)
