I think the Spider Man from the original trilogy a few years back fit the role better. The one in this movie didn't really talk much, and he didn't really sound or look the part. He just didn't really feel like Spider Man much. Perhaps it was the buildup that made the difference between the two Spider Mans, since the first one was solid and straight to the point while the newer one took a more slower, logical turn. I guess the first one just felt more like a comic book super hero then the newer one.
