    Increased defenses (rather than increased HP stat) means your pokemon loses less HP when hit. If this is the case, then you deal less damage with metal burst, as a smaller number (smaller amount of HP lost) * 1.5 is always smaller than a bigger number (bigger amount of HP lost) * 1.5. Having a low HP stat also means it can't take as many hits this way without needing to use recover.

    However, this point is moot, since sucker punch is also kind of a sucky move on mega sableye too, since I'm choosing natures that reduce my attack stat.

    I think you can see their info in the Logbook, but I could be wrong since I haven't logged into Global Link in circa. ever (and I can't double-check since it's down for maintenance).
