My Donphan analysis is done! Unless something comes up, look out for it on the Strategy Pokedex over the next few weeks.

My name is Azam and I play pokemon VGC in national tournaments and leagues around my location. I want to join because I hope to improve by getting to know more people around the Smogon Community and help them with my team.

Fuck yeah I'm gonna do an OU Mienshao Analysis! I can't wait to see good old Mienshao's analysis written by me on the Strategy Pokedex one of these days. My Mienshao team finally payed off.

Yeah I was planing on Tabuu hopefully rematching Halcyon. Tabuu sounds kind of meh on the idea of battling again for some reason, so if he really wants to give up the win then so be it. Not only did Halcyon cheat, but Tabuu was also in a bad mood supposedly so he wasn't paying much attention to detail, so I defintiely feel that a rematch would be the best idea for both of them. I'll ask Tab.

Well I consider these my most important contributions to Smogon. I'm good at NU, great at monotype and peaked 12th in RU and 10th in LC. If you see my teams, you'll know that I like to use underrated (gimmick) strategies, and 90% of the time they work. I don't like standard sets, and I'm always looking forward a gimmick.

I like to help people here, that's why I'm in numerous unofficial projects such as CAM, NEMEP, Project PU, etc. It'd be a pleasure to help ^^

Depending on what Pokemon you do, it shouldn't take that much time. You could do a set only write up, for example Tabuu attempted at Agility Lucario but I think he gave up because he got lazy or something. I'll give you the quick rundown of a typical analysis:

First you write up a skeleton consisting of bullet points and important information that quickly summarizes points (this probably takes the longest because you have to calc stuff, test different sets, experiment, etc.) After you get 2/3 QC checks, then you're able to write a full blown analysis like the ones you see in the main Strategy Pokedex. After you get your final QC check which proves that there's enough information to suffice for the analysis, you have to get GP or Grammar checks. After 2 Grammar checks, your Analysis is finished and replaces the old analysis on the Pokedex!

So yeah it's time consuming, but you have plenty of time to finish it. You could tackle certain parts of the analysis every day, and they give you like 2 weeks to form your Skeleton into an analysis, which is pretty much the same but in complete sentences. Anyways if you ever wanted help writing one I could show you how to do it and even test some sets out for you.

Analysis writing is really fun you should try it! If you do enough of them you could even get a badge, and it's cool to see your own writing in the strategy Pokedex for all to see! So far I'm doing OU Darmanitan and Donphan.

It involves the tournament theme. I didn't want to be generic with the original guy, but I found a decent replacement for him anyway.

Oh Showdown.... the many problems you always seem to have... Sucks because I'm in the work of making my new team for the next tournament. It's a fucking blast by the way.

Anyways, I just wanted to give you a heads up. My younger brother has been considering picking up the competitive scene. He has a lot of experience and is actually really good for someone his age. He's watched me play and he's seen players such as Shofu play. I've played against him and his ability to predict prediction is scary...although that if his downfall sometimes.
I still remember times earlier back when things such as Rotom-W v Gliscor would happen and he'd say "Volt Switch" and I'd be like "Why?"
Then he'd reply "'Cause you're going to scare out that Gliscor anyway so go for Volt Switch to predict the switch. Plus even if he stays in, you're still in the advantage"

So yea. Just wanted to let you that we may get a new member!

Well I'm not starting it until a week or two after the final round, but I just have to think ahead so I don't have to come up with something in the last minute. Why is our battle being hard bad news? That's great news! Makes it that much more enjoyable. By the way, I'll send you a PM on what the new tournament is.
