Yes indeed it does lol. I always seem to never go far in tournaments because of similar situations that happened with my battle with Tabuu. I have a great start, but make really dumb decisions late game because I start to get cocky and not pay attention to the possible outcomes. Never seems to happen when I fight random opponents on PS, no matter how tough they are. When it comes down to competitions and tournaments, I for some reason just always finish poorly. Literally what you saw was an exact carbon copy of my last round I played in an OU tournament a few months ago. I was beating a guy 5-3, and instead of taking the risk of burning Salamence with Will-o-Wisp, I decided to send my Scarfed Terrakion in hopes to predict it's Dragon Dance. Make a long story short, he KOed my Terrakion and proceeded to Moxie sweep my team. Every last one them. Not even one turn of hurting himself from confusion either. Burning the Salamence would have won me the battle since all he had left was two walls and Mence. I could have made it to the finals too...uggg. There are so many tourneys I've played in and every single one of them I make the same careless mistakes every time. I need to learn how start strong, and finish strong, not just start strong and half ass the rest of the battle. Must be linked to nerves I guess.
