The mods aren't really assholes per se, they just do not immediately like new users, instead forming opinions based on what they do. Your problem is that they do not understand the subtlties and intricate nature of Team Keyblade, which biases them further. Gain their respect, however, and you could possibly make a complete face-heel turn in their eyes. Which ultimately makes them respect Team Keyblade. Which makes them more likely to pressure Vader into giving it back to you.

I'm not saying you have to respect them, I'm just saying it's in your best interests to have them respect you. For example, would Vader have stolen your team if he respected you? Not a chance. But if you gain his respect he might WILLINGLY give you your team back.
