Use the Battle Finder for Wifi battles or go on a sim and hit look for a battle there. Randomly adding people on Smogon is not the way to go.
I recommend a different method of finding battles.
If you're talking about WiFi or PO, I don't use either of those... Feel free to challenge me on Pokemon Showdown if you see me there though!
