Oh, that's cool. I actually have a code that will let me check your SID I think too. DrCossack used it on me and it worked fine, so I think it'll work on you too. You just have to go to the trading screen and not even trade a poke. I just highlight your poke, hold start and select, check it's stats, and ON MY CARTRIDGE my money will be changed to IT'S SID. Easy peasy.
Well, about which is harder...DPPt is probably easier for someone who is "new" to RNG, but if you pretty much understand "how and why" the RNG works the way it does (you've done it for long enough to figure out most problems on your own), AND you can hit high delays, then one isn't any harder than the other.
However, you'd have better luck catching me on IRC cuz it's much easier to talk in real time there so I can step you through anything you need while you're doing it.
Oh, no. I've got plenty of time and LOVE to help people learn to RNG! :D Plus I've RNG'd all the legendaries in HG TWICE in two runthroughs, so I kinda know what I'm doing finally. :P
