.... I would expect gengar to sub... and not have hypnosis but t-bolt... so the normal i would expect is:
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast
Substitute
Thunderbolt
It's not too important to me. I'd prefer Male I suppose, but if it makes things more difficult don't worry about the gender.
My only hope was DD T-Tar *Cough, copier, cough* And you would most likely have KO'd assuming you had focus blast (pretty standard) but i was surprised you didn't sub up when arcanine fell asleep.... i would have lived with 'nape enough to break the sub and move on.
