    I think the reason why we don't have such a thread is because it will become self-defeating: in the past we've had similar threads which get inundated with content because it's easy to find stuff to post, so people don't bother reading any of it. The comic thread works because the scope of what you can post is well-defined and more limited. At one point people were flooding it with every strip from a particular comic, which we told people to cut out.

    Basically, you need a semi-specific theme so that the reader isn't going to have to sift through loads of things they probably don't want to look at.
