Mount battle is a good place.
What I mean is basically overlevelling yourself so you can easily smash through the in-game trainers. It means you can get to the shadow pokemon quicker and cuts the time for a reset.
Have you been grinding at all? Also, which reset was it?
8-9 hours, more depending on what I'm resetting. My last run took about 8 hours 30 minutes, but I only came out of it with 2 good pokemon.
