offtop stats
+2 mew easily beats pex/tran/tapus/ferro/lando and usually gets 2 sds
also since its a mew, it takes anything that isnt a stab or choiced shadow ball/knock off
+2 sucker punch ohkos pult, leki, skewda, +3 even more
almost nothing gets a status up before dying and/or getting statused...
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8ou-1558007928 (turn11)
no fini replays cuz i started it tonight and then x'd out before saving replays but it won a loooooot, lotta early forfeits as lead
those two are the mons i wanted to share. the rest can be changed and probably should. not a good team...
basic ass ou, except not really because with pupu sweeper demons/fake demon sets on mew and fini
uwuMew set = 2+ mons a fight minimum luring steels/landos/leles, setting up on them and healing itself, then suqpunch ohkos many revengers
demon-fini puts in work too: iron defense neuters...
I will say though, that Seadra just forced SD Breloom out lol
and why do I need Taunt? I dont know, just always been a fan for stopping hazard setups in their tracks without needing a spinner. Really wish g5 had just 1 or 2 more viable spinners.
Also, If I were to replace Weavile with Scizor...
Yeah I threw specs on Ttar and even then it was a bag of sh*t vs spd toed. I think I'm gonna take the advice on zone and gastrodon(have always hated that mon, but maybe thats a testament to its value)
oh lol yeah timid zam, my bad
It's interesting switchup, but drainpunch isn't strong enough vs Steels that take neutral damage. Like, at all. That's why Flame Charge works here. Then you add the fact that It jumps up a speed tier and thats why I used it over Sucker Punch, and wanted to instead...
1. I actually was running Zone here. Here are my jusitifications, you can tell me if they sound valid: 1) Tbolt for winning the weather war, and while this isn't a sand team, id rather have sand up than rain//having having some say in the weather. But to your point, I could run Lum Berry on Mew...
It’s definitely potent and looks like a team I’d lose to. I like the concept of bludgeoning dragon checks until there are none left.
but first I personally have a lot of good experience w jirachi, out of the most common mons it’s by far the one I use mostcuz it’s so damn reliable. it definitely...
Nice, I’ve been anti weather throughout my gen5 tenure and I have the mediocre record to show for it. Just added Ttar to my team and almost want to give it the other ability rather than sand stream lol :(
anti sand and rain ofc. Hail and sun are too hard to pull off to be undeserving of...
I've been using this Mew set on and off for actually years, and usually it kills at least 2 mons. Super casual player(first post on forums!), usually do randoms, but every now and then I'll try to come up with Gen5 teams that don't use ALL of the usual suspects/strategies. I did eventually cave...
