It only seems longer because you have to do your journal flips regardless. I don't know, it does seem to take me longer to hit my delay sometimes when breeding, but not that much longer. :/

Ok, I haven't tried it yet (though I'm about to :naughty:) but I think what you can do, is save in the gatehouse, check your initial seed with coin flips, enter the Great Marsh, catch a pokemon to check what frame you're on, then immediately, pause the game advance the frame with journal flips, then sweet scent again. This has some room for error, but I think it may work.

Stevee, I think I figured out a way to do Great Marsh pokemon without save states! :naughty:
