Much better, and more fair.
Here's an idea: If the Pokemon's defense or special defense is 2 or lower, they recieve x2 boost to that stat. If it's above 2, they gain +1.
I really like the Armor Testing arena. (The RNG hated you though lol.) 10-10 Defense Dusclops is insane.
Oh, no, it's nothing. I'll just use that for reference. Serebii.net is AWESOME with that kind of stuff, it takes like half a minute each. I exaggerated... by quite a bit.....

Also, if you are going to watch the anime, DO NOT WATCH the first, Watch Brotherhood instead. The first does not follow the manga at all.
