I think there should be more shading inside the mouth as the sun wouldn't really be able to reach in there right! Other general shading improvement comes with practice so KEEP ON ARTING :)
Also good copying of the sugimori art for sharpedo haha. On the topic of that, don't feel that if the eyes aren't exactly right or whatever that you should be shot; instead, try and give your pics as much expression as possible e.g. In this pic I think it'd look p funny if sharpedo had like really big, wide eyes with tiny pupils so further emphasize the OH SHIT or something
Another thing to work on is lineart, which is kinda uneven atm. Faster strokes help, as does starting with a rough sketch underneath to give you the general idea of what you're trying to do
